Overview
- Lead clinical research studies in Women’s Health, focusing on reproductive, hormonal, and general health conditions.
- Provide medical direction and oversight for clinical trials, ensuring scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the site’s lead medical authority, overseeing participant safety and coordinating with sponsors.
- Collaborate with study monitors and sponsors to ensure successful execution of research protocols.
- Offer flexibility for full-time or part-time scheduling, supporting work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Provide medical leadership for Women’s Health research studies, ensuring adherence to study protocols and ethical standards.
- Conduct or supervise clinical trial procedures performed by research staff.
- Verify training, competency, and qualifications of research personnel.
- Ensure compliance with FDA, GCP, IRB regulations, and company policies.
- Review and interpret study data, including lab and imaging results.
- Oversee subject recruitment and retention efforts in collaboration with site coordinators.
- Mentor Sub-Investigators and clinical team members to foster professional growth.
- Provide weekend or after-hours oversight as required by study protocols.
Job Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree with specialization in Women’s Health, OB/GYN, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Women’s Health or OB/GYN preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical practice experience; research experience preferred but not required.
- Active physician license in Ohio, ensuring eligibility to practice.
- Strong clinical judgment and expertise in women’s health and reproductive care.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and clinical trial management systems.
