Overview

  • Serve as a Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in a dynamic outpatient practice.
  • Collaborate with experienced Rheumatology physicians in a collegial, multi-specialty environment.
  • Focus on patient care with dedicated support staff and streamlined administrative processes.
  • Work a sustainable 4-day clinical week with no inpatient or weekend responsibilities.
  • Manage outpatient musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases with infusion-based biologics and immunosuppressive therapy.
  • Benefit from an onsite infusion floor, laboratory, and robust business office infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care for patients with musculoskeletal and autoimmune diseases.
  • Conduct new patient consults and follow-up visits with templated scheduling for efficiency.
  • Collaborate with physicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in referral reviews and triage to maintain appropriate access to care.
  • Utilize EMR systems for documentation and patient management.
  • Provide guidance and oversight for infusion-based treatments as needed.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development activities.
  • Maintain compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Job Requirements

  • Master of Science degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies.
  • Active NP or PA licensure in Oregon or eligibility to obtain.
  • Preferred experience in Rheumatology or relevant specialty practice.
  • Proficiency in outpatient musculoskeletal and autoimmune disease management.
  • Familiarity with infusion-based biologics and immunosuppressive therapy.
  • Strong communication skills and collaborative approach to patient care.
  • Experience with iKnowMed EMR is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
