Overview

  • Lead large-scale commercial construction projects ensuring operational excellence and client satisfaction.
  • Provide executive-level leadership to project teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Oversee project financials, budgets, schedules, and risk management strategies.
  • Develop and mentor project managers, superintendents, and support staff.
  • Implement company processes, safety programs, and best practices for operational excellence.
  • Act as the primary executive point of contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Support business development efforts by fostering client relationships and contributing to strategic pursuits.
  • Monitor staffing needs and resource allocation to ensure projects are appropriately supported.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Provide strategic leadership for multiple large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors for project success.
  • Manage and develop project managers, superintendents, and support staff.
  • Oversee project financials, budgets, schedules, and risk management processes.
  • Implement company processes, safety programs, and best practices for operational excellence.
  • Serve as the primary executive contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive construction management experience, including leadership of large projects.
  • Proven track record in commercial, healthcare, higher education, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills with ability to mentor project teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and client-relations abilities.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management software, scheduling tools, and financial controls.
  • Experience implementing safety programs and operational best practices.
  • Ability to monitor staffing needs and resource allocation effectively.
