Job Description

Overview

  • Lead and manage construction projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to quality standards.
  • Collaborate with a smaller, dynamic construction team to drive project success and innovation.
  • Oversee development initiatives, including in-house projects and third-party general contractor engagements.
  • Act as the owner’s representative, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the construction team and organizational capabilities.
  • Report directly to senior leadership, providing insights and updates on project progress.
  • Engage in brokerage services to facilitate project-related transactions and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Plan, execute, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and team members to ensure project alignment.
  • Monitor project budgets, schedules, and resources to optimize efficiency.
  • Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of construction.
  • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate third-party general contractor activities and ensure compliance with agreements.
  • Develop and manage team capabilities to enhance project delivery outcomes.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and industry standards throughout project phases.

Job Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience in construction management or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction project management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to coordinate with diverse teams.
  • Experience with brokerage services and owner’s representation is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software for tracking progress.
