Overview

• Lead the strategic design and implementation of scalable financial systems architecture, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry standards.
• Collaborate across departments to integrate advanced technologies, including AI and automation, into financial workflows for enhanced efficiency.
• Ensure financial systems are secure, reliable, and adaptable to evolving business needs and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Define and document technical architecture for financial systems, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee backend operations for financial applications, including configuration, database management, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Design and manage APIs, ETL pipelines, and middleware integrations to facilitate seamless enterprise data flow.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement intelligent automation and predictive analytics in financial systems.
• Establish and enforce standards for data security, compliance, and access control within financial systems architecture.
• Provide technical guidance and lead design reviews for multi-system initiatives and integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across application, data, and infrastructure layers, implementing proactive improvements.
• Mentor and support team members, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in financial systems development.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field is required, with advanced certifications preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in enterprise application architecture or financial systems support, with 15+ years preferred.
• Deep technical knowledge of financial systems like Elite 3E, including schema, configurations, and integrations.
• Expertise in system integration, API development, and data pipeline design for enterprise-level applications.
• Experience with AI frameworks and integrating intelligent automation into financial systems is highly desirable.
• Advanced skills in SQL, Python, and scripting for system automation and diagnostics.
• Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server, IIS, Windows Server, and cloud environments like Azure or AWS.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot across application, data, and infrastructure layers.
