Overview

  • Lead and oversee operations of a dynamic cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring superior patient care and adherence to healthcare standards.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Supervise daily operations of the cardiac catheterization lab, ensuring optimal patient care delivery.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide feedback, and implement effective training programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop patient care plans tailored to individual needs.
  • Ensure adherence to evidence-based medicine principles and healthcare regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of four years in patient care delivery.
  • At least two years of leadership experience, preferably in a clinical healthcare setting.
  • Active Registered Nurse License and Basic Life Support certification required.
  • Cath Lab experience essential, with expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures.
  • Preferred certifications include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and ANCC certification.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and healthcare information systems for effective communication.
  • Strong knowledge of patient safety, emergency preparedness, and evidence-based medicine principles.
  • Excellent skills in change management, process improvement, and compliance management.
