Job Description

Overview

  • Support the Marketing Communications team in executing public relations and communications initiatives.
  • Focus on writing, editing, and publishing content across multiple platforms.
  • Assist in promoting firm matters, deals, and thought leadership campaigns.
  • Maintain trackers and reports for media coverage, awards, and editorial calendars.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and business development teams for content creation.
  • Ensure consistency, accuracy, and timeliness across all communications.
  • Work in a hybrid schedule with 3-4 days in-office weekly.
  • Temporary position lasting until late September, with possible extension.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, edit, and proofread high-quality content for websites, social media, and press releases.
  • Review and update website and social media content for brand consistency.
  • Monitor and track firmwide media coverage and maintain media trackers.
  • Assist with media inquiries, interview coordination, and reporter research.
  • Support PR campaigns, thought leadership, and awards submissions.
  • Coordinate inputs and deadlines for awards submissions and draft/edit content.
  • Maintain trackers and reports for rankings, accolades, and editorial calendars.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in PR, communications, or marketing preferred.
  • Proficiency in writing and editing for digital and external audiences.
  • Experience with content management systems and media monitoring tools is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must live within commutable distance to the office for hybrid work arrangement.
