Overview

  • Lead operations of a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center with advanced facilities and equipment.
  • Collaborate with physicians, staff, and governing boards to ensure operational efficiency and clinical excellence.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
  • Manage financial performance, budgets, and operational risks to support sustainable growth.
  • Oversee staffing, workforce planning, and employee performance management for optimal team functionality.
  • Coordinate physician relationships, credentialing processes, and medical staff collaboration.
  • Identify opportunities for service line development and operational improvements to enhance patient care.
  • Ensure a positive experience for patients and employees through hands-on leadership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage daily administrative, clinical support, and business functions of the facility.
  • Serve as a liaison between governing boards, medical staff, and organizational leadership.
  • Develop and oversee operating, staffing, and capital budgets to ensure financial health.
  • Monitor financial performance and address operational risks proactively.
  • Support physician relationships and coordinate credentialing and medical staff processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, quality, and safety standards.
  • Oversee vendor and service contracts to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Participate in operational reviews and performance reporting to drive improvements.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or related field required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in surgical or ambulatory center leadership; 5 years preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management, budgeting, and operational risk mitigation.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards in healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional leadership and collaboration skills to manage teams and physician relationships.
  • Ability to identify service line development opportunities and drive operational improvements.
