Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on patient goals and clinical findings.
- Provide education and counseling to patients and caregivers regarding therapy techniques and prognosis.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and therapy outcomes.
- Stay updated on advancements in speech-language pathology practices and integrate them into patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.

Job Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders is required.
- Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies to practice Speech Pathology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Preferred minimum of 1 year of experience in speech-language pathology.
- Strong knowledge of adult and acute care speech-language therapy practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
