Job Description

Overview

  • Provide essential nursing care in a detox and rehabilitation setting.
  • Work within a 32-bed facility focused on chemical addiction recovery.
  • Collaborate with medical and psychosocial teams to ensure patient-centered care.
  • Conduct health assessments and monitor patient vitals regularly.
  • Advocate for client health goals and provide health education.
  • Maintain accurate medication administration records and controlled substance logs.
  • Deliver emergency first aid and CPR when required.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings and document client updates.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate medical and psychosocial care for clients, including referrals.
  • Serve as primary medical case manager for assigned clients.
  • Conduct health assessments and collaborate with nursing leadership.
  • Communicate client needs during team meetings and through documentation.
  • Ensure adequate medication supply and maintain controlled substance logs.
  • Provide health education and advocate for client health goals.
  • Deliver emergency first aid and CPR when necessary.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support client care.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required.
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in detox, psychiatric, or substance abuse settings.
  • Preferred 3 years of experience in related fields.
  • Strong documentation and communication skills essential.
  • Ability to perform emergency first aid and CPR effectively.
