Job Description

Overview

  • Support environmental monitoring tasks in aseptic environments and controlled areas, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and safety protocols.
  • Document microbial growth results and maintain accurate records using LIMS and GDP principles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and operational processes.
  • Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to team objectives effectively.
  • Perform general laboratory tasks such as cleaning and equipment preparation.
  • Maintain aseptic qualifications and adhere to training requirements for all tasks.
  • Assist in laboratory investigations within a defined scope as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with GMP documentation standards and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Conduct environmental monitoring tasks for controlled areas and plant utility systems following SOPs.
  • Incubate and enumerate microbial growth on environmental monitoring plates accurately.
  • Document tasks in LIMS or laboratory paper documentation using GDP principles.
  • Enter task information into logbooks as per SOP requirements.
  • Collaborate with operations and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless GMP processes.
  • Participate actively in laboratory meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Maintain aseptic qualifications and adhere to training requirements for all tasks.
  • Perform general laboratory tasks including cleaning and equipment preparation.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED with 4+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent qualifications.
  • Proficiency in oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Basic math and computer skills, including data entry and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize time independently and perform multiple tasks concurrently.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment and meeting objectives effectively.
  • Maintain aseptic qualifications and comply with GMP standards.
  • Preferred experience in laboratory investigations and environmental monitoring tasks.
