Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Monitor security operations, responding to incidents and mitigating vulnerabilities effectively.
  • Optimize cybersecurity tools and configurations to strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Collaborate with departments to enforce security policies and conduct compliance audits.
  • Identify cybersecurity risks and lead remediation efforts following assessments and audits.
  • Deliver presentations on cybersecurity updates and strategies to leadership and committees.
  • Implement strategies to address emerging threats and align with regulatory standards.
  • Advocate for integrating advanced cybersecurity technologies to enhance security posture.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of cybersecurity experience, including 2 years in managerial roles.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Purview, SentinelOne, and Splunk.
  • Strong knowledge of financial services regulatory requirements and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 Lead Implementer are required.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
  • Ability to balance technical expertise with strategic oversight and decision-making.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly broker-dealer operations, is preferred.
