Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Research, design, and oversee building projects, ensuring compliance with zoning codes and regulations.
- Prepare detailed specifications, materials lists, and cost estimates for client approval.
- Represent clients in bid processes and contract awards, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
- Conduct site observations during construction to monitor adherence to design plans.
- Direct team activities, ensuring collaboration and productivity in project documentation.
- Review and approve shop drawings from subcontractors and manufacturers for accuracy.
- Coordinate IT solutions for office systems and software licensing needs.
- Generate mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil drawings for smaller projects independently.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Architecture (B.Arch.) from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience; 10 years preferred.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture, Microsoft Office, and structural calculation software.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills to manage budgets and teams effectively.
- Ability to analyze and review shop drawings for compliance with specifications.
- Experience coordinating with consultants and subcontractors for project documentation.
- Knowledge of zoning codes, construction procedures, and building materials.
