Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and implement policies to maintain high standards of psychiatric care.
• Conduct regular rounds to ensure alignment and operational excellence.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to enhance care quality and patient satisfaction.
• Address patient complaints and occurrence reports with thorough follow-up.
• Promote a professional practice environment conducive to staff recruitment and retention.
• Collaborate with educators to address staff learning needs and orientation.
• Manage nursing services budgets, optimizing costs and resource utilization.
• Build strategic relationships with physicians and healthcare providers for system improvements.
• Support evidence-based practice and clinical research initiatives.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in the state of practice or active compact license.
• Minimum 5 years of supervisory nursing experience; 7 years preferred.
• Direct inpatient behavioral health leadership experience required.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory standards and professional nursing practices.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage budgets effectively.
• Excellent communication and strategic planning skills.
