Overview

  • Lead on-site construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project goals and maintain quality standards.
  • Manage daily operations, including resource allocation, site inspections, and adherence to construction plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards throughout project execution.
  • Foster a culture of safety and teamwork among on-site personnel and subcontractors.
  • Monitor project progress and report updates to stakeholders, addressing challenges proactively.
  • Utilize advanced construction management tools and techniques to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Support the development and implementation of innovative construction solutions and practices.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, tracking milestones and adjusting plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards.
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, including performance evaluations and contract adherence.
  • Prepare and submit progress reports, documenting key achievements and challenges.
  • Facilitate effective communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment and collaboration.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues and ensure project success.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, promoting professional growth and development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in construction management, engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in commercial construction; 10 years preferred.
  • Proven expertise in managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills to manage diverse teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools for scheduling and reporting.
  • Commitment to safety and quality, with a track record of successful project delivery.
