Cloud Delivery Engineer

Overview

• Drive the design, deployment, and optimization of cloud solutions utilizing Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and operational excellence in cloud service delivery.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, documentation, and procedures for scalable and efficient cloud operations.
• Provide expert-level support for complex technical issues, ensuring seamless functionality and user satisfaction.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and professional growth.
• Monitor and analyze platform performance, recommending improvements for resilience and cost-effectiveness.
• Stay informed on industry trends and Microsoft updates, integrating new features to enhance organizational capabilities.
• Champion innovation and continuous improvement in cloud service delivery and management.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Design and implement robust mobile data protection controls using Intune policies and device configurations.
• Manage data sharing access and device profiles across diverse platforms, ensuring seamless integration.
• Define and troubleshoot Conditional Access Policies and multifactor authentication setups for secure access.
• Oversee Exchange Online mail flow, security protocols, and coexistence with legacy systems.
• Lead global cloud infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and standards.
• Develop comprehensive technical documentation, diagrams, and operational runbooks for team use.
• Provide expert-level escalation support for Microsoft 365, Intune, and Azure services.
• Mentor and train team members, enhancing their technical skills and knowledge base.
• Monitor and optimize platform health and performance, ensuring cost-effective and reliable operations.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience managing enterprise-level Microsoft 365 tenants and services.
• Proven expertise in Intune-based endpoint management and cross-platform device integration.
• Strong knowledge of Conditional Access, compliance policies, and app protection strategies.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and system management.
• Experience in regulated environments, such as law firms, is advantageous.
• Microsoft certifications, such as Azure Solutions Architect or M365 Enterprise Administrator, are preferred.
• Ability to lead complex technical projects and effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on innovation and efficiency.
