Overview
- Provide medical and administrative support under the supervision of the Nurse Manager in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Assist medical providers with patient care, ensuring efficient clinic operations and high-quality service delivery.
- Maintain clinical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for daily operations and patient encounters.
- Float between clinics as needed, adapting to various healthcare environments and patient needs.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) systems to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks as required, adhering to universal precautions.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care and maintain a supportive clinic atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Organize and prepare patient summary sheets and charts for daily clinic operations.
- Restock and clean exam rooms, ensuring readiness for patient encounters.
- Call patients from the lobby into exam rooms and obtain their chief complaints.
- Measure and document vital signs as per medical provider preferences and patient needs.
- Assist with patient care under the direction of medical providers or Nurse Manager.
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical tasks, adhering to safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with universal precautions in all clinical activities.
- Utilize Eclinical Works to document patient information accurately and efficiently.
Job Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant certification mandatory.
- Minimum of 1 year of healthcare experience preferred; bilingual candidates are a plus.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and computer literacy required.
- Strong clinical skills and ability to perform phlebotomy tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a stable work history and professional demeanor.
- Flexibility to float between clinics as needed, adapting to different environments.
