Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Act as the primary HR contact for assigned departments, providing expert guidance.
- Consult with leadership on HR-related topics, fostering collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Maintain and update internal databases for staff and faculty records accurately.
- Analyze HR metrics to develop programs and policies supporting organizational objectives.
- Resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations as needed.
- Provide performance management guidance to leadership for effective team development.
- Identify training needs and implement development programs for departments.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations, acting as a subject matter expert.
- Perform additional HR duties as assigned to support organizational goals.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
- HR certification or ability to obtain certification within one year is advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in diverse environments.
- Proficiency in Paychex and other HRIS systems is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and PA regulations is desirable.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and analytical skills are required.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite is essential.
- Physical ability to navigate office spaces and campus facilities as needed.
