Job Description

Overview

  • Contribute to the business development efforts of a leading law firm specializing in finance, tax, and restructuring practices.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and marketing teams to create impactful proposals, pitch materials, and RFP responses.
  • Support strategic planning initiatives and maintain directories and rankings submissions for practice groups.
  • Assist in developing and executing cross-practice initiatives to enhance firm-wide business development strategies.
  • Manage logistics for firm-produced events and conference sponsorships, ensuring seamless execution and follow-up.
  • Maintain and update the firm’s experience database, tracking pitch and proposal activities effectively.
  • Collaborate on marketing content creation, including newsletters, blogs, and client briefings.
  • Provide feedback on coordinator performance and assist in lateral recruiting and integration processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and maintain proposal materials and RFP response content, ensuring alignment with branding and messaging standards.
  • Coordinate logistics for practice-wide meetings, including agenda preparation and material distribution.
  • Support the creation and execution of marketing collateral for assigned practices.
  • Track and manage business development expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
  • Collaborate with attorneys on CLE presentations and client-focused initiatives.
  • Facilitate the development of ranking submissions for directories such as Chambers USA and Legal 500.
  • Enhance omni-channel marketing strategies for assigned practices, contributing to brand advancement.
  • Provide day-to-day support for business development services, ensuring timely and effective delivery.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within a law firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM systems is preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines effectively.
  • Experience with legal directories and rankings submissions is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships across teams.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, commuting to the office 3-4 days per week.
