Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Draft and file court petitions and related legal documents.
- Collaborate with attorneys to ensure case accuracy and compliance.
- Assist clients in compiling necessary documentation for claims.
- Manage and prioritize multiple tasks and requests effectively.
- Utilize Microsoft 360 tools for document preparation and management.
- Maintain a client-focused approach in all interactions.
- Support the team in handling cases related to the Victim Compensation Fund.
- Contribute to a collaborative and professional work environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts degree or paralegal certification required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in surrogate court preferred.
- Experience with September 11th Victim Compensation Fund cases is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 360 tools required; Salesforce familiarity preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills essential.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Willingness to work onsite Monday through Thursday, with optional remote Fridays.
