Job Description

Overview

  • Lead architectural design and execution for multifamily and mixed-use projects, ensuring quality and adherence to client specifications.
  • Collaborate with clients, consultants, and internal teams to deliver innovative, sustainable architectural solutions.
  • Utilize advanced technical expertise in Revit and BIM workflows for project documentation and coordination.
  • Mentor junior staff, fostering professional growth and maintaining a collaborative work environment.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Engage in construction administration tasks, including site visits and field coordination.
  • Contribute to the firm’s commitment to design excellence and technical innovation.
  • Participate in internal reviews to uphold quality standards and consistency.
  • Support the development of podium-style and retail-focused architectural projects.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead multifamily and retail projects through all design phases, maintaining design intent and technical accuracy.
  • Coordinate with consultants to ensure project specifications meet regulatory and client requirements.
  • Produce and manage construction documents using Revit and other design software.
  • Oversee BIM workflows and ensure organized project documentation.
  • Apply expertise in podium construction and code compliance during project execution.
  • Monitor project progress, resolving technical challenges and meeting deadlines.
  • Mentor junior staff and delegate tasks effectively to promote team efficiency.
  • Engage in client interactions, providing leadership in technical discussions and project updates.
  • Support construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and site visits.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 7–15 years of professional experience in architecture, focusing on multifamily and mixed-use projects.
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, BIM 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Bluebeam.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, podium construction, and technical documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage consultants, and mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with construction administration tasks, including RFIs and site visits.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results under deadlines.
