Overview
- Lead consultative sales efforts to increase adoption of alternative investments among advisors and platform users.
- Develop expertise across private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge fund offerings.
- Engage in regular market meetings with advisors, GP partners, and centers of influence.
- Build trust and understand market trends to identify growth opportunities.
- Support advisors in portfolio construction, client conversations, and business development.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless post-sale support and client satisfaction.
- Utilize CRM tools and data analytics to inform sales strategies and decisions.
- Represent the client in designated regions, fostering relationships and driving adoption.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Execute consultative sales processes to promote alternative investment adoption among advisors.
- Conduct in-market meetings to build trust and understand regional opportunities.
- Provide expertise in hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate investments.
- Develop and implement data-driven sales strategies using CRM tools.
- Support advisors in portfolio construction and business growth initiatives.
- Collaborate with GP partners and centers of influence to identify market trends.
- Ensure post-sale support and satisfaction for platform asset holders.
- Maintain compliance with industry standards and licensing requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required, with a focus on finance or related fields preferred.
- 8+ years of client-facing experience in the alternative investment industry.
- Expertise in RIA, Independent BD, or Bank distribution segments.
- Proven success in regional sales development and CRM utilization.
- Series 7 and 63 licenses required; CAIA certification preferred.
- Strong adaptability, self-motivation, and team collaboration skills.
- Ability to sell and support a diverse range of alternative investment products.
- Willingness to obtain CAIA certification within three years if not already certified.
