Job Description

Overview

  • Lead revenue cycle operations for a multi-state healthcare organization, ensuring strategic planning and optimization of financial processes.
  • Collaborate with executive management and financial leaders to achieve operational goals and enhance efficiency across the system.
  • Analyze revenue cycle metrics, providing regular reports on financial performance, trends, and improvement strategies.
  • Maintain expertise in healthcare finance, reimbursement programs, and managed care operations.
  • Work closely with offshore resources and vendors to ensure cost-effective operations and financial success.
  • Travel as required to oversee system-wide revenue cycle management initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of centralized business offices and regional revenue cycle operations.
  • Support the implementation of advanced healthcare technology solutions to optimize revenue cycle processes.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and execute strategic plans for revenue cycle operations across multiple hospitals and outpatient locations.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement improvement strategies to enhance revenue cycle efficiency.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align operational goals with organizational objectives.
  • Lead teams in centralized business offices and oversee offshore operations to ensure effective management.
  • Analyze and report revenue cycle metrics to senior leadership, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Maintain knowledge of EPIC, Meditech, and Change Healthcare products for effective system integration.
  • Ensure compliance with government and commercial reimbursement programs and healthcare regulations.
  • Foster relationships with financial leaders and executive management to drive operational success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of ten years of hospital revenue cycle management experience within a multi-state health system.
  • Seven years of system-level leadership experience in revenue cycle operations.
  • Proficiency in EPIC, Meditech, and Change Healthcare products is essential.
  • Master’s Degree and CPA certification are preferred qualifications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships.
  • Ability to travel as required to oversee system-wide initiatives.
  • Proven success in leading revenue cycle operations for large healthcare organizations.
