Job Description

Overview

  • Lead comprehensive corporate tax compliance and consulting initiatives for a diverse client portfolio, ensuring adherence to regulations and delivering exceptional results.
  • Collaborate with a skilled team to develop innovative tax strategies tailored to client needs across various industries.
  • Utilize advanced technologies to streamline tax processes, enhance efficiency, and maintain compliance with evolving regulations.

  • Support complex tax needs for large, multi-state, national, and global organizations, ensuring accurate and optimized solutions.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage end-to-end client engagements, from planning through execution, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of tax services.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Review and optimize tax returns and provisions, identifying opportunities for compliance improvement and efficiency.
  • Conduct in-depth research on complex tax issues, providing actionable insights and consultation to clients.
  • Utilize specialized software tools, such as OneSource Tax Provision, for efficient tax provision preparation and review.
  • Respond to inquiries from tax authorities, ensuring accurate and professional communication and resolution.
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships by understanding their operations and delivering tailored tax solutions.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to enhance technical expertise and knowledge of tax regulations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
  • Active CPA certification or JD/active law license with state-specific certification is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in tax compliance or consulting is required.
  • Proficiency in ASC 740 Accounting for Income Taxes and corporate compliance is essential.
  • Experience with OneSource Tax Provision software is preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with solid knowledge of US GAAP.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, balancing remote and in-office tasks.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
