Job Description

Overview

  • Support payroll operations for a leading real estate firm, ensuring compliance and accuracy in union payroll processes.
  • Process weekly payroll for over 200 union employees, maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to manage dues payments, unemployment, and leave programs.
  • Ensure readiness for audits and maintain accurate reporting across payroll systems.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Yardi Voyager for payroll processing and data management.
  • Provide employee support for payroll inquiries, taxes, benefits, and verifications.
  • Contribute to special projects and enhance workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work on-site with occasional remote work flexibility, adhering to a structured schedule.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Process weekly payroll for union employees, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Manage dues payments, 401k contributions, and unemployment programs accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain payroll records and prepare for audits, ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, taxes, benefits, and employment verifications.
  • Utilize ADP Workforce Now and Yardi Voyager for payroll processing and reporting tasks.
  • Collaborate with HR and finance teams to streamline payroll operations and enhance workflows.
  • Participate in special projects, demonstrating adaptability and strong comprehension skills.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations and tax laws.

Job Requirements

  • Associate Degree in a relevant field, with three years of payroll experience in a corporate setting.
  • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and familiarity with Yardi Voyager for payroll processing.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple workflows and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Advanced communication skills, including written, verbal, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with union payroll and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to adapt to new systems.
  • Willingness to participate in special projects and quickly adapt to dynamic requirements.
