Job Description

Overview

  • Lead warehouse operations to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfillment, and logistics coordination, driving operational excellence and timely deliveries.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to optimize procurement processes and enhance lead times, fostering strong partnerships.
  • Develop and implement effective standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and achieve organizational objectives.
  • Manage and inspire a dedicated warehouse team, promoting professional growth and a positive work environment.
  • Utilize data analytics to monitor inventory trends, address challenges, and prevent stock discrepancies effectively.
  • Ensure adherence to safety regulations and implement measures to minimize risks and enhance workplace safety.
  • Provide strategic insights and operational updates to senior management, contributing to organizational planning and success.
  • Support large-scale client order fulfillment, maintaining high service standards and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, including order processing, picking, packing, and shipping to ensure efficiency.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, implementing strategies to prevent stock-outs and optimize stock turnover.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for inventory control, logistics, and fulfillment processes to enhance operational performance.
  • Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to improve procurement efficiency and reduce lead times.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and implement measures to mitigate workplace risks.
  • Coordinate with senior management to align warehouse operations with broader organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Associate of Science (AS) degree or equivalent educational background required.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in warehouse management; 10 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems, ERP, WMS, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills.
  • Experience in developing and implementing effective operational strategies and solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with multitasking capabilities and a commitment to customer-focused operations.
  • Ability to foster employee engagement and promote workforce development within the warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and practices to ensure a secure workplace.
