Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative support to attorneys specializing in Medical Malpractice and Employment & Labor law.
  • Assist with litigation tasks, including document preparation and case management.
  • Ensure efficient organization of legal documents and correspondence.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
  • Adapt to a hybrid work environment with initial on-site training.
  • Contribute to a collegial and business-casual work atmosphere.
  • Leverage strong administrative skills to manage a busy desk with heavy client contact.
  • Utilize advanced computer skills to streamline legal operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Support three attorneys with administrative tasks and litigation-related duties.
  • Prepare and manage legal documents, including contracts and case files.
  • Coordinate schedules, meetings, and client communications.
  • Handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with legal procedures and deadlines.
  • Utilize software tools like Word, PowerPoint, and Excel for document management.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and task completion.
  • Provide exceptional client service and maintain a professional demeanor.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree required.
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a legal administrative position.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of litigation experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Capability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills.
