Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee daily operations of the diagnostic imaging department, ensuring efficiency and compliance.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, optimizing resource allocation and cost-effectiveness.
  • Lead and mentor a team of imaging professionals, fostering professional development and collaboration.
  • Coordinate scheduling and workflows to maximize productivity and patient care quality.
  • Implement policies and procedures to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency in imaging services.
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to align imaging services with strategic objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate department performance, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure readiness for accreditation and certification processes, maintaining high compliance standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in diagnostic imaging leadership roles.
  • Preferred 5 years of experience in healthcare imaging management.
  • Active ARRT certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Proven experience in managing imaging departments with a focus on operational excellence.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and foster a positive workplace culture.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
