Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage month-end close processes, including payroll, accounts receivable, and accruals, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports to provide actionable insights for organizational decision-making.
- Reconcile general ledger and sub-ledger accounts, maintaining financial accuracy and compliance.
- Implement and maintain internal controls to ensure adherence to accounting principles and standards.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial entries, ensuring data integrity.
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax reports and returns in compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with auditors to address requests and ensure compliance with financial standards.
- Leverage advanced Excel functions for comprehensive financial analysis and reporting tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in senior or general ledger accounting roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics and advanced Excel functionalities is essential.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to drive financial excellence.
- Experience in the healthcare industry is advantageous but not mandatory.
