Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as Vice President within the Fund Origination team, focusing on product development, structuring, and lifecycle management for alternative investment vehicles.
  • Lead initiatives to onboard and manage funds investing alongside third-party alternative asset managers for wealth management channels.
  • Collaborate with asset and wealth managers to structure and launch funds meeting client, regulatory, and commercial requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure efficient and successful fund launches from concept to execution.
  • Oversee the creation and refinement of marketing materials supporting fund origination and lifecycle management.
  • Engage with internal Legal and Compliance teams to secure necessary reviews and approvals for fund initiatives.
  • Contribute to strategic projects and ad hoc fund launch initiatives to enhance service offerings.
  • Provide leadership in product management decisions for existing funds on the menu.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Lead structuring and execution of fund origination initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination to facilitate timely and efficient fund launches.
  • Partner with asset managers to develop and launch funds tailored to client needs and regulatory standards.
  • Manage the development and distribution of marketing materials for fund lifecycle activities.
  • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare materials for new fund approvals and coordinate launch-related documentation.
  • Shape service offerings by leveraging expertise across multiple fund structures and strategic initiatives.
  • Support ad hoc projects and initiatives to enhance fund origination processes.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in product structuring, fund administration, or custodial relationships.
  • Strong expertise in alternative investments, focusing on various fund structures and lifecycle management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong analytical skills for data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple tasks within tight deadlines.
  • Positive attitude and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
