Job Description

Overview

  • Lead consultative sales processes to enhance adoption of alternative investments and deliver exceptional service to platform asset holders.
  • Develop expertise across private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds to support advisors in portfolio building.
  • Engage in regular market meetings with advisors, GP partners, and COIs to foster trust and identify opportunities.
  • Contribute to the growth of the alternative investment industry through innovative strategies and client-focused solutions.
  • Collaborate with teams to implement data-driven decisions and enhance CRM utilization for sales processes.
  • Provide post-sale support for a diverse platform of hedge funds, private equity, private credit, and real estate offerings.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards and certifications, including Series 7 and 63 licenses.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, combining remote and on-site engagements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Execute strategic sales initiatives to increase adoption of alternative investments among existing and new users.
  • Deliver world-class service to platform asset holders, ensuring satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and maintain proficiency in alternative investments, including private credit, private equity, real estate, and hedge funds.
  • Conduct in-market meetings with advisors, GP partners, and COIs to strengthen relationships and identify market trends.
  • Utilize CRM systems and data analytics to inform sales strategies and decisions.
  • Support advisors in building better portfolios and enhancing their business practices.
  • Ensure compliance with licensing requirements and pursue CAIA certification within three years of hire.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree with 8+ years of experience in alternative investments.
  • Expertise in RIA, Independent BD, or Bank distribution segments.
  • Proven success in building regions and implementing effective sales processes.
  • Series 7 and 63 licenses are mandatory; CAIA certification preferred.
  • Strong client-facing skills and adaptability in dynamic environments.
  • Ability to provide post-sale support for diverse investment platforms.
  • Self-motivated team player with a client-first approach.
