Overview

  • Lead operational strategies for private debt investments, ensuring compliance and excellence in a dynamic, hybrid work environment.
  • Drive innovation and process optimization, implementing automation solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy in investment operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and support strategic initiatives effectively.
  • Coordinate with external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of transactions and adherence to industry standards.
  • Provide analytical insights during transaction closings, supporting investment teams with actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed reports and oversee daily operations, maintaining a focus on precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Ensure compliance with portfolio guidelines and policies for loan allocations and transactions.
  • Manage cash instructions, including subscriptions, redemptions, FX transactions, and liquidity monitoring processes.
  • Coordinate transaction execution with external managers, administrators, and custodians efficiently.
  • Lead workflow enhancements and automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide analytical support during transaction closings, ensuring timely and accurate responses to inquiries.
  • Assist in generating comprehensive reports and managing daily operations of the debt platform.
  • Promote team collaboration and maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to deadlines and quality standards.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in investment operations.
  • Expertise in cash and liquidity management, FX hedging, and capital call processes.
  • Experience in middle office or investment operations within asset management firms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Office programs.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • Knowledge of private debt asset class and fund accounting is advantageous.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills to effectively guide and influence team members.
