Overview
- Serve as a Senior Financial Analyst managing complex projects and processes within a dynamic environment.
- Contribute to departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on results.
- Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity using Cobra and SAP toolsets.
- Perform forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning for program performance metrics.
- Create, maintain, and update projects in SAP ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support internal and external audits for assigned programs and prepare proposal cost estimates.
- Engage in risk management, financial management, and change management processes.
- Work within a fast-paced environment prioritizing competing demands effectively.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage complex projects or processes with general oversight and ensure operational efficiency.
- Communicate within and outside of the function to gain cooperation on operational processes.
- Contribute to system and process improvements impacting departmental results.
- Maintain program baseline budgets for performance measurement and create variance reports.
- Prepare proposal cost estimates and pricing data for moderately complex projects.
- Provide support for audits and create ad hoc analyses as required.
- Ensure compliance with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations and related guidelines.
- Collaborate with leadership on assigned duties and responsibilities.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, business, accounting, finance, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum 6 years of relevant experience or a graduate degree with 4 years of related experience.
- Proficiency in Cobra and SAP toolsets and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Expertise in Earned Value Management concepts and processes.
- Familiarity with risk management, financial management, and work breakdown structures.
- Ability to obtain DOD Security Clearance requiring US citizenship.
- Preferred qualifications include an MBA or CPA, leadership experience, and certifications like PMP or EVMP.
- Knowledge of government contracts and funding profiles is advantageous.
