Job Description

Overview

  • Serve as a strategic finance partner, driving operational efficiency and informed decision-making through accurate cost analysis and financial reporting.
  • Analyze manufacturing costs, inventory, and variances to support leadership in achieving operational goals and profitability.
  • Collaborate across departments to align financial strategies with organizational objectives and enhance cross-functional communication.
  • Play a pivotal role in month-end close processes, forecasting, and annual budget planning to ensure financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, SOX, and internal controls while driving continuous improvement in financial practices.
  • Support ERP and EPM system initiatives to streamline processes and improve automation efficiency.
  • Contribute to investment management processes, including project approval, capitalization, and ROI validation.
  • Work in a hybrid environment, balancing remote flexibility with on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Prepare and analyze monthly forecasts, budgets, and cost updates in collaboration with plant leadership.
  • Lead month-end closing activities, including inventory reconciliation, variance analysis, and production order settlement.
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts related to inventory, GR/IR, and fixed assets.
  • Support calculation and reporting of warranty provisions, inventory reserves, and excess & obsolete inventory.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate BOMs, routings, and cost center rates in SAP systems.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and scrap reporting to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Coordinate CAPEX requests and spending, ensuring alignment with corporate financial guidelines.
  • Participate in ERP and EPM system enhancements to improve reporting accuracy and process efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cost accounting; 6 years preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA and enterprise performance management systems.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal control requirements.
  • Experience in financial planning, variance analysis, and inventory management.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across departments and drive process improvements.
  • Capability to manage CAPEX processes and validate ROI for completed projects.
