Job Description

Overview

  • Drive FPGA development across product lifecycle stages, from architecture to deployment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-performance embedded solutions.
  • Optimize FPGA designs for video processing and embedded applications.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with hardware and FPGA systems.
  • Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and customer meetings.
  • Enhance engineering processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
  • Engage in occasional travel for customer testing and integration activities.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Develop and optimize FPGA designs using VHDL and Verilog languages.
  • Perform synthesis, timing analysis, and optimization using industry-standard tools.
  • Design and debug high-speed digital interfaces for embedded systems.
  • Collaborate with PCB vendors to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
  • Create manufacturing documentation for fabrication and assembly processes.
  • Support system integration and debugging using advanced laboratory equipment.
  • Enhance video processing architectures for cameras and sensor interfaces.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of FPGA and embedded hardware development experience.
  • Proficiency with FPGA platforms and associated development tools.
  • Experience with simulation and verification tools for FPGA designs.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration and debugging techniques.
  • Knowledge of electrical design considerations for ruggedized environments.
  • Eligibility for Top Security Clearance is mandatory.
