Overview
- Drive FPGA development across product lifecycle stages, from architecture to deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design high-performance embedded solutions.
- Optimize FPGA designs for video processing and embedded applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues with hardware and FPGA systems.
- Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, and customer meetings.
- Enhance engineering processes and documentation for continuous improvement.
- Engage in occasional travel for customer testing and integration activities.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and optimize FPGA designs using VHDL and Verilog languages.
- Perform synthesis, timing analysis, and optimization using industry-standard tools.
- Design and debug high-speed digital interfaces for embedded systems.
- Collaborate with PCB vendors to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.
- Create manufacturing documentation for fabrication and assembly processes.
- Support system integration and debugging using advanced laboratory equipment.
- Enhance video processing architectures for cameras and sensor interfaces.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of FPGA and embedded hardware development experience.
- Proficiency with FPGA platforms and associated development tools.
- Experience with simulation and verification tools for FPGA designs.
- Hands-on experience with system integration and debugging techniques.
- Knowledge of electrical design considerations for ruggedized environments.
