Job Description

Overview

  • Design and develop cutting-edge electrical systems, ensuring innovation and reliability in product development.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones and technical excellence.
  • Perform detailed electrical design, including circuit design and system integration for robust solutions.
  • Validate designs through simulation, testing, and analysis to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and system-level issues to enhance product reliability.
  • Support manufacturing processes and production activities to ensure seamless implementation.
  • Maintain comprehensive engineering documentation, including schematics and technical reports.
  • Contribute to the development of advanced embedded systems and electrical architectures.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Design and optimize battery-powered systems and analog/digital circuits for high-performance applications.
  • Perform power and signal integrity analysis to ensure system efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement EMC/EMI-conscious design practices for compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate on PCB layout and component placement for compact, high-density designs.
  • Work with PCB vendors to develop stack-ups and conduct technical reviews.
  • Develop FPGA and SoC platforms, including video processing pipelines and advanced functionalities.
  • Utilize FPGA development tools and simulation software for design validation and testing.
  • Prepare fabrication and assembly documentation to ensure production readiness.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering roles.
  • Proficiency in ECAD tools for schematic capture and PCB layout design.
  • Hands-on experience with system integration, debugging, and validation processes.
  • Familiarity with FPGA development tools and high-speed communication interfaces.
  • Knowledge of electrical design principles for ruggedized environments is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds as required.
