Job Description

Overview

  • Provide comprehensive paralegal support to the legal team, ensuring seamless contract management and compliance across organizational operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance legal workflows and streamline processes for improved efficiency.
  • Maintain and organize legal databases, directories, and templates to ensure accessibility and operational effectiveness.
  • Prepare and manage documentation for corporate transactions, vendor agreements, and other legal matters with precision.
  • Support data collection and analysis efforts to facilitate informed decision-making within the legal department.
  • Act as a liaison between the legal team and other departments, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to the success of ad hoc legal projects and daily operations through proactive administrative support.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, proofread, and manage legal documents, including NDAs, vendor agreements, and leases, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Organize and maintain legal databases and directories for efficient access and operational support.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of legal workflows and processes.
  • Prepare lease abstracts and manage documentation related to office and data center leases.
  • Facilitate the collection and provision of data for internal legal projects and initiatives.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance scalability and efficiency within legal operations.
  • Serve as the primary contact for legal inquiries from internal teams, providing prompt and accurate responses.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts degree with 2+ years of paralegal or administrative experience.
  • Experience in corporate or financial transactions within trading firms or law firms preferred.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Google Workspace, and web-based portals essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
  • Familiarity with databases, project management, and AI tools advantageous.
  • Licensed notary or willingness to obtain notary certification is a plus.
