  • Lead financial operations for a dynamic investment firm, ensuring compliance and efficiency in accounting practices.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive strategic financial planning and decision-making processes.
  • Oversee fund accounting activities, including waterfall calculations and audit coordination, for diverse investment portfolios.
  • Enhance financial reporting systems to deliver accurate and timely data to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop accounting staff, fostering professional growth and a culture of excellence.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies across all financial operations.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage fund accounting processes, including waterfall calculations and audit preparation.
  • Collaborate with the Controller to oversee financial reporting and compliance activities.
  • Supervise administrative functions to ensure accurate financial data management.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance accounting systems and operational workflows.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support organizational decision-making.
  • Mentor and train accounting staff to achieve professional development goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in fund accounting or financial management.
  • Preferred 8 years of experience with expertise in private equity fund operations.
  • Strong knowledge of waterfall calculations and audit coordination processes.
  • Proven ability to lead and mentor accounting teams effectively.
  • Experience in optimizing financial systems and enhancing workflows.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills for strategic decision-making.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards within the financial industry.
