Overview
- Provide administrative support to the Student Success Center, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication across departments.
- Assist with clerical tasks such as managing emails, phone calls, correspondence, and data entry.
- Coordinate office operations, including equipment procurement, troubleshooting, and vendor relations.
- Support event logistics, including securing venues, catering, and promotional materials.
- Handle HR coordination tasks, including hiring processes and training for Graduate Assistants.
- Create promotional materials and manage club event logistics for student organizations.
- Utilize software platforms like Concur for expense tracking and budget management.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to maintain efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage incoming communications, including calls, emails, and mail distribution.
- Coordinate office systems, layouts, and equipment troubleshooting with IT and vendors.
- Track vendor information, process invoices, and manage contract renewals.
- Create graphics and promotional content for office and student events.
- Submit expenses and invoices using Concur and ensure proper budget allocation.
- Schedule appointments and manage leadership calendars effectively.
- Support student club activities, including event planning and logistics coordination.
- Assist with varied operational tasks to ensure workflow efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Arts or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of administrative experience; 3 years preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams; familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage high-volume tasks effectively.
- Experience in event planning and vendor coordination is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Tech-savvy with a keen ability to troubleshoot equipment and software issues.
