Job Description

Overview

  • Manage and oversee contract execution and archival strategies for diverse agreements in a remote capacity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business scenarios and implement process improvements.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts including Master Services Agreements, Consulting Agreements, and Statements of Work.
  • Provide innovative solutions for complex contractual terms, balancing risks and opportunities.
  • Develop and implement tools to streamline contracting operations and increase efficiency.
  • Influence and adapt contract policies to meet evolving business requirements.
  • Demonstrate leadership by mentoring new contract managers and ensuring adherence to procedures.
  • Analyze and report contract performance metrics to track effectiveness and improvements.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Draft, review, and negotiate various contracts, ensuring compliance and alignment with business goals.
  • Coordinate contract lifecycle processes among functional teams with strategic advice and follow-through.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-centric contracting solutions.
  • Implement tools and automation to enhance contracting processes and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute innovative negotiation strategies to address complex contractual terms.
  • Provide training and mentorship to ensure team alignment with department procedures.
  • Prepare and present ad-hoc metric reports to assess contract performance and improvements.
  • Act as a liaison for internal stakeholders, ensuring clear communication of business expectations and goals.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in contracts or project management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in contracts or project management roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office software and familiarity with systems like Smartsheet, Oracle, and DocuSign.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills tailored to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to operate effectively in structured and unstructured environments.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills to manage high-value contracts.
  • Capability to articulate business cases behind decisions and influence contract policies.
  • Driven to develop new skills and lead innovative negotiation strategies.
