Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Create and manage interior construction documents, including floor plans, elevations, and finish schedules.
- Select and specify finishes, furniture, and materials that align with project design objectives.
- Lead and participate in design teams, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Develop and present design concepts to clients and internal teams effectively.
- Ensure compliance with building codes and ADA standards in all design work.
- Utilize software tools such as Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite for design and documentation tasks.
- Coordinate with architectural studios to integrate interior designs into overall project plans.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from an accredited program.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in interior design projects.
- NCIDQ certification or active pursuit of certification preferred.
- Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and AutoCAD (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of building codes and ADA compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and graphic presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
