Job Description

Overview

  • Support financial reporting, fund accounting, and performance analytics functions within a collaborative and technology-driven asset management environment.
  • Gain exposure to investment operations, including daily P&L reporting, investor reporting, and interaction with external administrators and auditors.
  • Develop a strong foundation in asset management accounting, performance measurement, and financial reporting.
  • Work closely with various departments, including trading, accounting, sales, legal, compliance, and technology.

  • Collaborate with external parties for coordinated completion of operational responsibilities.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and database tools for analysis and reporting tasks.
  • Engage in multi-asset class trade processing and reconciliation, including Futures, Equities, FX, and Fixed Income.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Oversee full cycle of operations, including settlement, confirmation, and reconciliation processes.
  • Analyze account holdings for evaluation and reporting purposes.
  • Manage trade processing and trade blotter across multiple asset classes.
  • Collaborate with external parties such as custodians, administrators, and clients.
  • Utilize advanced Excel and database tools for operational analysis and reporting.
  • Support daily P&L reporting and fund accounting tasks.
  • Engage in investor reporting and performance measurement activities.
  • Interact with external administrators and auditors for coordinated reporting.
  • Contribute to firm-wide workflow understanding and collaboration across departments.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-5 years of experience in operations or asset management roles.
  • Proficiency in advanced Excel and database tools for analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial products and firm-wide business units is advantageous.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to unfamiliar functions.
  • Collaborative mindset with eagerness to learn and grow professionally.
  • Experience in trade processing and reconciliation across asset classes.
  • Familiarity with external party collaboration for operational tasks.
