Overview
- Manage day-to-day operations of facilities, office services, and corporate office technology systems to ensure seamless functionality.
- Coordinate with teams for maintenance and support of office technologies, security systems, and building management systems.
- Supervise facilities staff, providing guidance and ensuring service delivery meets organizational standards.
- Oversee mailroom operations, pantry services, and conference room setups for optimal functionality.
- Support emergency preparedness and crisis management initiatives, ensuring readiness and effective communication.
- Collaborate with IT teams for system upgrades, network dependencies, and facilities-based technology projects.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and address facility-related issues promptly.
- Provide on-site support for meetings and events, including video conferencing and technology troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise facilities staff, guiding daily operations and ensuring service delivery aligns with organizational standards.
- Coordinate furniture reconfigurations, desk moves, and employee relocations, ensuring efficient execution.
- Maintain and support office technology systems, including AV, security, and emergency notification platforms.
- Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to identify and address safety, cleanliness, and operational issues.
- Develop end-user documentation for facilities-related technology systems to enhance usability.
- Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, procurement, and project oversight, ensuring quality standards.
- Support emergency preparedness training and serve as a first responder for facilities-related incidents.
- Manage shipping vendor relationships and oversee mailroom operations for efficient service.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in facilities, technology, AV, and security systems management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills essential for success.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and system documentation effectively.
- Experience with vendor coordination, project management, and facilities-based technology systems preferred.
- Flexibility to work on-site during business hours and respond to emergencies as needed.
- Knowledge of Everbridge platform and supplemental HVAC systems is a plus.
