Job Description

Overview

  • Provide administrative and operational support to advance program goals effectively.
  • Collaborate with directors and senior staff to ensure smooth program execution.
  • Engage in research, writing, and proofreading tasks for program deliverables.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and logistics with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Draft memos, presentations, and correspondence to support program initiatives.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders, including government officials and donors.
  • Support inter-departmental collaboration and organizational initiatives.
  • Conduct research and summarize findings for publications and advocacy efforts.
  • Participate in special projects and contribute to the program's success.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Manage scheduling, expense reports, and travel arrangements for program staff.
  • Organize internal and external meetings, including timekeeping and follow-ups.
  • Provide administrative support for research publications and advocacy projects.
  • Draft and proofread memos, presentations, and communications materials.
  • Coordinate logistics for team events and ensure timely execution of tasks.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and maintain professional relationships.
  • Conduct legal and academic research to support program initiatives.
  • Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals.
  • Engage in special projects and contribute to program development.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience; 3 years preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent writing, proofreading, and fact-checking abilities.
  • Experience in politics, government, or nonprofit administration is advantageous.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with diverse teams.
  • Professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
