Overview

  • Lead construction projects for light industrial facilities, ensuring timely and efficient completion.
  • Manage ground-up construction processes with a focus on cold storage facilities.
  • Collaborate with project teams to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams.
  • Work on-site to monitor progress and resolve issues promptly.
  • Maintain strong communication with stakeholders and clients.

Key Responsibilities & Duties

  • Direct and oversee all aspects of light industrial construction projects.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for project needs.
  • Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to plans and timelines.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards.
  • Resolve construction-related issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
  • Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; additional certifications preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience managing construction projects independently.
  • Expertise in ground-up construction, particularly for light industrial facilities.
  • Experience with cold storage construction projects is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
