Overview
- Lead the Electrophysiology Lab operations, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians to address departmental needs and enhance performance and quality.
- Develop and manage annual operational budgets and capital expenditures effectively.
- Provide comprehensive reports to administration, including financial variance analysis and departmental statistics.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure resource availability for assigned areas.
- Implement action plans to address variances in practice and operations.
- Establish guidelines for practice utilizing expert resources and evidence-based standards.
- Facilitate the development and achievement of departmental goals and objectives annually.
- Ensure care provided aligns with best practices in quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise personnel and patient care within the Electrophysiology Lab.
- Collaborate with physicians to identify and resolve performance and quality issues.
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and capital expenditure plans.
- Provide detailed reports to administration, including financial analysis and departmental statistics.
- Oversee inventory management and ensure operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement action plans to address operational variances.
- Establish and maintain practice guidelines for assigned areas.
- Facilitate the achievement of departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree is required.
- Current Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact RN license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification is mandatory.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in electrophysiology.
- At least 3-5 years of management experience in electrophysiology or cath lab operations.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and industry best practices.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and operational planning effectively.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
