Overview
- Lead financial strategy and operations for a dynamic healthcare organization, ensuring compliance and optimization of reimbursement methodologies.
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and long-term plans to support organizational growth and sustainability.

- Ensure adherence to government regulations and reimbursement frameworks, optimizing organizational revenue streams.
- Engage with the Board Finance Committee to provide insights and drive informed financial decisions.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Direct all financial management activities, including reporting, budgeting, and internal controls, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
- Lead value-based payment strategies and managed care financial modeling to enhance organizational performance.
- Supervise the preparation of Medicaid and Medicare cost reports and ensure timely submission of required audits.
- Develop financial analytics dashboards to support executive decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage enterprise revenue cycle performance, including KPIs such as Days in AR and Net Collection Rate.
- Oversee HRSA grant financial management and compliance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Supervise finance staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Collaborate with Human Resources on benefits, pension, and payroll management to support employee satisfaction.
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration required; CPA or similar certification preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of financial management experience, with 7 years in healthcare settings; FQHC experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, including PPS, APGs, and NY Article frameworks.
- Proficiency in financial systems modernization and business intelligence tools for enhanced analytics.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making within complex healthcare environments.
- Ability to manage and mentor diverse teams, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and financial software packages such as Great Plains and Dynamics.
