Cath Lab Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory, ensuring optimal performance and patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical leaders to expand procedural services and improve patient outcomes.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance departmental efficiency and quality.
• Oversee staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to meet operational goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements within the department.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development among staff.
• Maintain strong communication and relationships with stakeholders, including physicians and executive leadership.
• Monitor and analyze departmental performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

Cath Lab Manager Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required; a Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a Cath Lab or Interventional Radiology setting.
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications are mandatory.
• Possession of an active IL RN license or willingness to obtain one.
• Proven ability to lead operational improvements and manage departmental budgets effectively.
• Strong knowledge of cardiovascular and interventional procedural workflows and standards.
• Demonstrated success in fostering a collaborative and accountable team culture.
• Experience in managing staffing, productivity, and performance metrics in a healthcare environment.
