Architectural Designer Overview

• The Architectural Designer will contribute to producing high-quality architectural documents for multi-site projects, ensuring adherence to brand standards and project timelines.
• Collaborate with project architects and design teams to interpret and implement client brand standards into construction drawings.
• Work in a hybrid environment, combining on-site and remote work for flexibility and efficiency.
• Utilize AutoCAD and Revit to develop detailed plans, sections, elevations, and construction documents.
• Engage with consultants and jurisdictions to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

Architectural Designer Key Responsibilities & Duties

• Develop and manage construction drawings, ensuring compliance with brand standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants to integrate and review project drawings.
• Maintain CAD standards, including layering, naming conventions, and file management.
• Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency in drawing sets.
• Assist in obtaining permit approvals and revising documents to meet jurisdictional requirements.
• Support project teams through design development and construction document phases.
• Participate in production meetings and contribute to improving workflows and efficiencies.

Architectural Designer Job Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Architecture or related field is required.
• 2-4 years of experience in architectural production or CAD drafting is preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is strongly required; experience with Revit is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and experience managing drawing sets and file structures.
• Ability to interpret design intent and work independently on production tasks.
• Experience with multi-site rollout projects and branded commercial implementations is advantageous.
• Familiarity with coordinating drawings across jurisdictions and with consultants.
