Clinical Supervisor Overview
- The Clinical Supervisor oversees clinical services, ensuring timely access and quality care for clients.
- Lead implementation of innovative care models and evidence-based treatments.
- Support professional development through supervision and training of licensed staff.
- Ensure program compliance with federal, state, and city regulations.
- Collaborate with leadership to optimize program operations and efficiency.
- Provide direct client services, including intakes and crisis interventions.
- Monitor clinical performance metrics such as appointment availability and show rates.
- Promote recovery-focused, integrated care approaches within the program.
- Foster a collaborative team environment to enhance service delivery.
Clinical Supervisor Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Develop and oversee clinical services to address community needs effectively.
- Implement quality improvement initiatives and participate in assurance activities.
- Provide individual and group supervision to program staff.
- Ensure timely client admissions, discharges, and case assignments.
- Participate in hiring, training, and performance evaluations of staff.
- Facilitate team meetings and case conferences to support program goals.
- Monitor program compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Utilize electronic databases to address billing and fiscal issues.
- Serve as backup for other leadership roles as needed.
Clinical Supervisor Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work or related field with clinical licensure (LCSW, LMHC, or LCAT).
- Minimum two years supervisory experience and three years working with adults with mental illness.
- Strong clinical skills in individual, group, and family interventions.
- Excellent organizational, teamwork, and communication abilities.
- Knowledge of evidence-based practices and quality improvement methodologies.
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic databases for program management.
- Ability to supervise crisis intervention services effectively.
- Russian language skills preferred but not required.
- Commitment to compliance with regulatory standards and program excellence.
